DESCRIPTION
Ewa returns home from hospital to her children, two-year-old Jaś and eight-year-old Marysia, left in the care of Ewa's mother during her absence. Soon Ewa's husband Andrzej is due to return home, having spent a few months working in Norway. Preparations for Marysia's First Holy Communion are under way. But Ewa has a secret that will soon disrupt the seemingly still waters of family life.

DIRECTOR
Anna Jadowska (1973) is a Polish director and screenwriter, whose work includes feature and documentary films and television. She studied directing at Łódź Film School and Wajda School followed by Ex oriente and EAVE workshop. Following her acclaimed debut, “Touch Me” co-directed by Ewa Stankiewicz, she has continued making films focusing on women's experiences in encounters with an often hostile reality. FILMOGRAPHY
