DESCRIPTION

A comic satire on a typical Polish wedding reception, in which Wieslaw, a rich landowner, is determined that his daughter's wedding will be the best that money can buy. But as the arrangements progress, things start to go increasingly wrong for him - even to the extent that his secret stash of money disappears.

DIRECTOR
Wojciech Smarzowski is a film and theatre director, screenwriter and documentary filmmaker. He began his career with music videos. He represents the creative contingent of Polish cinema makers that emerged after the year 2000. The strength of Smarzowski's cinema lies in his portraying a rotten universe.
