DESCRIPTION

Sofia, 20, lives with her parents in Casablanca and she just gave birth to her child. She broke the law, because baby is out of wedlock. They’re not allowed to remain in the hospital. There is a problem of epic proportions which must be resolved in the next 24 hours: Sofia must to be married to stay on the right side of the law. She has to provide the father's papers before hospital will informe the authorities… Directress is painting a picture of class structure in Moroccan society and the hypocrisy which surrounds it.
