DESCRIPTION

Lucy is tired of being the perfect mother. She is seething on the inside. When a department store security guard searches her stroller he finds more than he could ever have imagined. A film about the absurdities of today’s mummy-hood.


DIRECTOR
Pola Beck was born in Berlin in 1982. Raised by a theatre and film family, she developed an early interest in art, photography, and the moving image. After various directing internships she spent a year at the European Film College in Denmark in 2003. From 2005-2011, she studied directing at the HFF “Konrad Wolf” film school. Her graduation and first feature film Am Himmel der Tag (“Breaking Horizons“, Germany 2012) won the „Golden Eye“ at Zurich Film Festival in 2012 followed by numerous awards. Currently she is developing new TV & Cinema projects and teaches at an acting school in Berlin.
