DESCRIPTION
95-year-old Polish heroine Irena Sendler tells the unknown story of a conspiracy of women who outwitted the Nazis and rescued thousands of Jewish children from the Warsaw ghetto during WWII. Story of that tough times, kept for years in secret. The documentary includes reports sharing by her collaborators, survivors, social activists and historians.

DIRECTOR
Mary Skinner, daughter of a WWII Warsaw war orphan, award-winning producer, writer and director. Skinner graduated from the University of California at Berkeley’s renowned theater program and was a founding member of the acclaimed Riverside Shakespeare Company in New York. She worked as a corporate marketing executive in New York and San Francisco and, in 2003, established 2B Productions. Mary Skinner is focused on non-fiction programs specializing in WWII and Poland.
